Designer Protein
During my time at Designer Protein, the small in-house design team managed all design needs the company had, from packaging to advertising to e-mail campaigns. I worked directly with the Creative Director to assist in the concepting and development of any creative assets.
The unique challenge in designing advertisements for DP was balancing the full range of products and product users; appealing to the accessibility of light to medium protein powders for customers with general wellness goals, as well as highlighting the intensity and performance the heavier powders for athletes and avid gym users.

In January 2017 I was tasked with creating Designer Protein's yearly press kit. My goal was to create a concise and clean booklet which showcased our product highlights as well as the overall brand lifestyle.
In 2016 Designer Protein's Creative Director and I worked together to create a new, all-encompassing welcome pack. We collaborated with other departments to gather all the necessary information a new employee might need.
Walmart Pitch
A significant portion Designer Protein’s business is their B2B client/partners, such as the grocery stores, nutritional supplement companies, and online vendors, who sell DP’s products. In 2017, DP landed a meeting with Walmart to pitch their products. With the potential to become a major client, the marketing team developed an ad campaign to demonstrate our marketing support and plans for advertising if they picked up the products. I was tasked with taking the initial print ad and producing ads 2 & 3, adapting those to digital ads, and finally mocking up all the ads so the Walmart buyers could see the ads in context.
